Excellent. Hope it went well. I have decided to do something similar, although I won’t be writing about the actual dates. But I am trying to go on 50 of them in the next 9 months. Amusing and/or absurd in itself!

I remember (much like you) coming home from school and seeing it on TV doing the same.

I came in from school having heard rumors of something big being up whilst waiting for the bus and saw the TV footage, i sat and watched totally fixed on the screen and even saw the second plane crash.

I remember feeling shocked at it and although not emotional as such certainly experiencing some emotion related to it.

Having seen 9/11, Flight 93 and World Trade Centre about the event I’m reminded of the horror that people must have experienced although I don’t think we can ever truly understand the experience of those in the towers and surrounding area back then.
